Kogi ADP to Organise “Cassava City Day’’ Programme
By Stephen Adeleye The Kogi Agricultural Development Project (ADP) says it has concluded plans to organise the “Cassava City Day’’ programme, which is aimed at exploring the opportunities and prospects of cassava production. The Managing Director of the ADP, Mr Oyisi Okatahi, said this via a statement in Lokoja on Wednesday. He said that the programme, which had “Exploring the Treasures of Cassava Crop’’ as its theme, would be organised in collaboration with the Kogi Ministry of Agriculture. According to him, the programme will expose the participants to ways of exploring the opportunities in cassava farming, processing, storage and marketing.
